NZ: dolphins

Postby dlegal on Fri Oct 30, 2009 4:39 am

Where in NZ would one be able to see Dolpins in the wild easily in March/April? I've heard of people swimming with dolphins in Oz. Are there similar places in NZ for this?

yep you can swim with dolphins in akaroa harbour. biggest company doing swim with dolphin trips, and also dolphin watching is Black Cat ... their website is here http://www.blackcat.co.nz they also have a dolphin swim guarantee so if the conditions are not right for your swim (weather or the dolphins are calving, or there are not many around that day), you get part of your money back.

stunning experience!
